Nokesville Methodist Church is a Bible-centered, mission-minded, community-focused Christian church, and we are currently seeking a part-time Accompanist to join our ministry team. This person will help support the spiritual life of the congregation by leading and accompanying worship through music.
Responsibilities include:
- Accompanying congregational singing, choir, and soloists during weekly worship
- Attending Sunday morning rehearsal from 10:30–11:00 AM and worship from 11:00 AM–12:15 PM
- Attending weekly choir practice, one evening per week from 7:00–8:30 PM
- Supporting special worship services and rehearsals, including Good Friday, Christmas Eve, and other seasonal services
Qualifications include:
- Proficiency in piano or organ; additional instruments are a plus
- Experience directing or accompanying church or choral music
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and lead with creativity and flexibility
- A heart for ministry and a desire to support the congregation’s worship life through music
